Nurse of the Year (Misc)
Time: 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Location: Sheraton Phoenix Downtown

March of Dimes, BlueCross BlueShield of Arizona and University of Phoenix are rolling out the red carpet for the seventh annual “Nurse of the Year”. This elegant evening affair recognizes outstanding nurses throughout Arizona, champions the profession of nursing, creates awareness of the nursing shortage facing our state and supports the mission of the March of Dimes. A portion of sponsorship proceeds benefit nursing scholarships. Anyone can nominate a nurse for an award – patients, friends, family, co-workers or other health professionals. A volunteer committee of industry professionals and community leaders will review blinded nominations and select three finalists in each category. The Winner Selection Committee, also comprised of health care specialists, will select a winner in each category to be announced the night of the gala.
